  1. Searching the CCDT Link from the EDUCE 104 Syllabus (17-Feb): http://learnweb.harvard.edu/alps/tfu/design_shared_units.cfm to the CCDT search form.

  2. Searching the CCDT Enter keywords of the topic you wish to search for. You may also search by author name. Clicking on Expanded search gives you more search criteria, such as grade level. Once you have entered your search criteria, click Search for Design.

  3. Search Results A search for “math” returns the following results: To view a CCDT design, click on the title of your choice. You may begin a new search by clicking the New Search link.

  5. Providing Feedback in the CDDT • Your assignment for this week is to provide each member of your team with feedback on their CCDT Learning Communities Memo. • Feedback should be 4-5 concise sentences. Using specific examples from the readings, suggest how each person can beef up their memo.

  6. Providing Feedback in the CCDT • Log into the CCDT at: https://learnweb.harvard.edu/ccdt/ Make sure the Design tab is selected. Find your team members projects in the list. To open a project, click on the Name link.

  7. Providing Feedback in the CCDT Scroll through the project until you find the Blank Pages sections. The Learning Communities Memo should be posted there. Click on the Memo link.

  8. Providing Feedback in the CCDT The memo will open so you can read it. To provide your feedback, click on the Feedback button.

  9. A new window will open. Click on Add new feedback. Type your comments in the Add feedback window. Click Save once you are finished.

  10. To View Feedback on your Memo • Next week’s assignment will involve reviewing the feedback your team members gave to you, and incorporating that into a revision of your memo. • To view your feedback, log into the CCDT at: https://learnweb.harvard.edu/ccdt/

  11. Viewing Feedback on your Memo The Collaborate tab should be selected. Click on View Feedback Check the box next to the feedback you wish to view. Click View

  13. CCDT Discussion Board • The CCDT also has a Discussion Board feature to facilitate communication and project feedback. Feel free to explore and use the discussion board tool as another collaboration tool. • Please note, use of the discussion board is not part of the assignment and will not be graded.

  14. CCDT Discussion Board To access the Discussion Board in the CCDT, select the Collaborate tab. Then select Message Board. Click on an existing discussion to view or reply to a post. Click on the add button to start a new discussion.

  15. CCDT E-mail Function • You can use the Manage Team functionality to email all the members of your team. • This is not part of the assignment, but feel free to explore this collaboration tool as well.

  16. CCDT E-mail Function Also on the Collaboration tab, under Manage Team, is the option to send an email to all the members of your team.
