  4. Communication Devices A hardware component that enables a computer to transmit and receive data, instructions, and information. Examples: Cables, Telephone Lines, Networks, Satellites, etc.

  6. Computer Types Laptop Pocket PC Tower Personal Computer (PC) Tablet

  7. Input and Output Devices

  8. Diagnostic Utility Compiles technical information about your computer’s hardware and certain systems programs. • Prepares a report which outlines and identifies problems. • Diagnoses problems as well as suggests courses of action. • Assists technical support staff in remedying identified problems. • Diagnostic Utility programs are included with many operating systems.
