Agenda 12/3/12 • January 5th Mock Exam=Midterm Exam • Lit Terms Quiz • 15+15 • Multiple Choice Practice • Activity One: Read passage and answer questions • Activity Two: Read 2nd passage and answer mc-12 min. • Activity Three: Choose 2 incorrect answers and write a rationale for the correct answer • Activity Four: Write 2 mc questions (using stems) for 1st passage/rationale for correct answer • Activity Five: Choose 1 passage to write a style analysis (can use DIDLS)

Agenda 12/5/12 • Multiple Choice Practice • Activity One: Read poem and answer questions • Activity Two: Read 2nd poem and answer mc-15 min. • Activity Three: Choose 2 incorrect answers and write a rationale for the correct answer • Activity Four: Write 2 mc questions (using stems) for 1st passage/rationale for correct answer • Activity Five: Choose 1 passage to write a style analysis (can use TP-CASTT)

  4. Agenda 12/7/12 • Prose passage essay prompt • 20 minutes to annotate/answer as many guided questions as possible • 40 minutes to write your essay • Turn in before lunch • After lunch… • Annotation guidelines/rubric • TP-CASTT- “Fire and Ice”

Agenda 12/11/12 • Make sure you have turned in: • Act #3&4 for prose mc #1 and poetry mc #1 • DIDLS for C&P passage/TPCAST for sonnet • “The Street” essay • Prose Passage Rubric/Scoring Guide • Sample Essays-High/Low paper • In groups of 3 or 4 exchange papers/read/score; exchange again and repeat process. Your essay should be looked at and scored by 2 of your peers.
