Road Centerline – Uses • Mapping – Display purposes • Accurate categories (MRWA type, MSD class etc) • SSD similar • Geocoders • PSA – address geocoders • RCL – intersection geocoder • – street geocoder • Network Analysis • Travel Time (requires travel speeds) – Speed limit would be useful • Travel Distance (requires distance) • Resource Allocation Planning • Resource Turnouts • Basic wants: • Travel barriers (concrete barriers, not median strips) • Travel direction • Topologically correct i.e. overpasses (e.g. Parry Ave & Kwinana Fwy) • Speed limits Our Vision: A Safer Community
