    3. Habitat Locais úmidos, crescendo sobre substratos orgânicos; Algumas espécies são parasitas de plantas e animais.

    4. Representantes Bolores; Leveduras; Cogumelos; Orelhas-de-pau.

    5. Classificação Eucomycota (fungos verdadeiros)-dividido em quatro classes: Phycomycetes; Ascomycetes; Basidiomycetes; Deuteromycetes. O processo usado para essa divisão é o tipo de reprodução. Nos deuteromicetes não se conhece o processo de divisão. Mixomycota (fungos gelatinosos);
