  2. Modern organizations today more than ever need passionate and dedicated leaders, who can see them through these extremely challenging times. Michael Dadoun is such a leader, who in a very short period of time, has taken his organization to previously unthought-of heights. • In a business environment marked by economic uncertainty and intense rivalry, employees are increasingly turning towards their leader for guidance and support. • A leader has to comprehensively understand the business environment and be thoroughly aware of all the factors that may help or hurt his organization, both in the short and long term. • A few important qualities and characteristic that a modern leader must have to successfully lead a modern organization are as following:

  3. Confidence • Leaders must have confidence in their own abilities and capabilities as well as the capabilities of their subordinates. • The world economic outlook is nothing much to write about. Quite a few Euro zone countries are still in recession, the world’s largest economy US is growing at a snails’ pace, and the economies of BRIC countries are also witnessing a slowdown. • This downbeat economic scenario is bound to test the confidence and resolve of even the strong business leaders and their organization. • Economy, however, is not the only thing that is giving business leaders sleepless nights. We are witnessing all sorts of disruptions on a daily basis.

  4. What it means is that risks that were thought to be improbable have suddenly risen. With so much instability all around, it is not uncommon to see a CEO’s confidence taking a nosedive. • It has, therefore, become very important for modern CEOs to display confidence and a lot of optimism. They need to see a silver lining in the dark clouds and make their employees believe that there is definitely going to be a light at the end of the tunnel. • Michael Dadoun, the CEO of payment processing firm UpClick, sees the current condition of global economy as stable rather than regressive and fraught with catastrophe. • A supremely confident leader, Michael is a person who sees opportunity in every challenge. He remains positive that his Organization will continue to perform exceptionally in coming times.

  5. The Ability to Take Risk • The ability to take risk with confidence is an important leadership quality that every modern leader should possess in ample measure. In this age of ‘instability,’ leaders can only succeed if they are comfortable being uncomfortable. • Leaders who avoid uncertainty to the greatest extent possible and procrastinate on decision making for fear of failure or the decision going awry are sure to lead the organization to its premature doom. • Truly great leaders, on the other hand, never shy away from taking calculated risks. They continuously challenge the status quo and start feeling uneasy when things become too comfortable. • They are afraid that smoothly moving things may lull them into a false sense of security, which may turn out to be extremely detrimental for the organization.

  6. Risk-taking and fearlessness in a CEO are the two qualities much admired and revered by business experts. The world seems to be in an endless economic turmoil and a leader not afraid of the uncertain is only expected to make a mark. • The competition is cutthroat and a cavalier or a lackadaisical approach towards change can put you years behind competition. Modern business environment needs leaders who are fearless and calculated risk takers. • ‘If it is not broken, then it does not need to be fixed’ approach has become outdated in present dynamic business environment and ever changing consumer preferences. • Michael Dadoun is a fearless and courageous leader, who is always on the lookout for new and improved ways of doing things. He is not averse to destabilizing a procedure, if he thinks that the particular process could be carried out in a more effective and efficient way. • Michael does not allow complacency to set in either in himself or his employees. He has developed a work culture in his organization where employees are comfortable with change and have the ability to cope up with it.

  7. Trust • Leaders who are successful are the leaders who are trustworthy and display impeccable professional integrity. • Successful leaders know that the trust is the base on which the foundation of a resilient and successful organization can be created. • The corporate world in recent times has been rocked by quite a few high flying scandals. CEOs understand that they have to restore the badly shaken confidence, in order to target the right opportunities and build brand loyalty. • Social media resolution has further added to the clout of the customers. Any wrongdoing on the part of the organization is immediately brought to the notice of the consumers the world around. • Michael Dadoun is a leader who lays special emphasis on ethics and professionalism. He knows and understands that any questionable behavior or misdemeanor on the part of the organization can severely dent its brand image and profitability.
