Two campuses:Eskilstuna and Västerås • Modern campuses near the city centre of Eskilstuna and Västerås. • One hour from Stockholm. • 140,000 people have chosen to live in Västerås, which makes it Sweden’s sixth biggest city. • Eskilstuna, which celebrated its 350th anniversary in 2009, has 99,000 inhabitants. A co-productive university • MDH has a long tradition and history of close cooperation with society and works strategically. • We offer contract education that is important for continuing professional development in the region. • Ericsson, ABB and Volvo are some of Sweden’s largest companies that in various ways have chosen to cooperate with MDH.

Third-cycle education Third-cycle education is organised in six areas: • Embedded Systems (subjects Computer Science and Electronics) • Innovation and Product Realisation (subjects Innovation and Design) • Environment, Energy and Resource Optimisation (subjects Energy and Environment Engineering and Mathematics/Applied Mathematics) • Industrial Economics and Management (subjects Industrial Economics and Management along with Work Life Studies) • Didactics (subjects Didactics and Mathematics and Technology with subject Didactics) • Health and Welfare (subject Health Care Education)
