NRG Legal reference for Records Exchange Transfer of Records Section 1304(b)(3) requires SEAs to promote interstate and intrastate coordination by providing for educational continuity through the timely transfer of pertinent school records (including health information) when children move from one school to another, whether or not the move occurs during the regular school year.

MSIX 2011 Accomplishments • New and improved MSIX hardware and infrastructure • Dedicated Data Review environment • Two additional MSIX Training environments • Over 30 enhancements to MSIX reporting capabilities • MSIX functionality to support 5 new Minimum Data Elements • Implemented Web Services integration • Loaded 3 new states, Assessment data from 6 new states, and Course History data from 7 new states • Conducted 5 MSIX Training Sessions at the OME Conference • Conducted 3 webinars to provide information and instruction to MSIX users on MSIX functionality • Train-the-Trainer session for approximately 20 state MEP team members in Washington, DC • Conducted onsite Training for Louisiana MEP staff in Baton Rouge, LA

REACTS 2011 Accomplishments • Completed 10 state site visits • Presented at four national and state-wide conferences • Distributed four quarterly newsletters to over 2,900 subscribers • Created an MDE Guide • Created a State Self-Assessment Tool • Created a Policies and Procedures Template • Conducted three webinars: • State Strategic Plan • State Assessment Tool Overview • Policies and Procedures Guide • Launched the REACTS website as a repository for records exchange information • Created the State Director’s Welcome Kit
