  2. What is The Okefenokee Swamp? The Okefenokee swamp is a wetland in Georgia. It is a small, slow moving water. The swamp contains trees, plants, animals, and water.

  3. Prev Location It is located in the southeastern part of Georgia. It is 38 miles in length and 25 miles in width. In total the swamp would be about 700 square miles.

  4. Animals that live there. The animals that live near the Okefenokee swamp is: • Alligators • Marsh Rabbits • Otters • Frogs • Raccoons • Dragon Flies • Ibis • Mosquitos • Ivory Billed Woodpecker • Carolina Parakeets • Passenger Pigeons • Panthers • Wolves

  5. What plants grow The plants that grow in the Okefenokee swamp is Cypress, Cattails, Shrubs, and Water Lilies trees.

  6. Natural Disasters A fire can harm homes of animals. Some tornados‘ can ruin the trees. Floods, hurricanes can also break apart the Okefenokee swamp.

  7. The Ecosystem Snake eats frogs………….. Frog eats dragon flies…………… And dragonflies eat mosquitos
