  23. Teacher Message The non-scoring Design Cycle game operates with simple use of PowerPoint. The alternate scoring version requires the use of VBA macros (MS Visual Basic for Applications) Macros are hidden code that run in the background: macros can contain malicious code, that is to say could be a virus, which is why you will receive a security warning when you open the Design Cycle Game with scoring. For the Design Cycle Game with scoring to work, you must enable macros, that is when you see Security Alert – Macro choose Enable this content then OK If you cannot or do not want to enable the macros, stick with this non-scoring version. To examine the macro code used, open the pptm version of the Design Cycle Game with scoring file, and use View (tab), Macros to access the code.
