President’s ReportErin Steenwyk • 2010 highlights • Allocated funds for facilities and landscaping projects • Upgraded the Facilities committee by organizing sub-committees and addressing numerous projects • Eliminated trees posing imminent danger to the community, most notably, the removal of the threatening large oak tree and addressed dead trees that pose a danger to  common areas and easements  • Continue to set-aside funds for future repaving when a majority of the lots are developed and will patch/repair sections of the road as necessary

  11. Adopt A Highway • Program designed for: • Quarterly pickup of litter along Stoney Point Drive • Keeping state owned drive (Stoney Point Drive) in a safe, clean & natural setting • Recognizing Stoney Point Harbor and its Homeowner’s Association.

  12. Facilities Committee at Work Do we need a larger bag, Charles? Strategizing & getting “fueled up” before going to work… What could they be looking for?...Deer or trash? Moe, Larry, & Curly posing…….

  13. Working w/ Landscape Committee Fearless leader Sharon & crew hard at work……. Ed..You’d better do what we say….… Ms. Ellen…go easy on me…. Sarah enjoying her “work”... “We love these biscuits…Any more?” What’s with the snips, Susan?

  14. More evidence that SPH people do work (and have fun) to keep SPH neat…………. Ed just loves the pine needles… Kim, would they not let you have any coffee?.!!!!!! Green thumb Gerry! Whether it’s submarines, or pine needles , George has fun! Where can I hide my stash…. I mean trash? Vest, gloves, & hat..Now where’s the golf ball…….

  15. One more……………………. Christine & Kim beautifying SPH….w/ smiles & effort. Pretty boy Roy posing for the camera. Great time to catch up on all of SPH’s gossip…under disguise of working… A manual for cleaning up? You’ve got to be kidding…….

  17. Dates to remember for Neighborhood Clean up • March 12 (This morning) Pruning of crepe myrtles • April 9th Neighborhood Clean Up (Saturday) Adopt A Highway Litter Pick up • April 16th Rain Date

Entrance Gate • Began working with a new vendor • Rebuilt entrance gate installing new hinges, and various repairs to assemblies. • Exploring maintenance agreement for 2011 year. • Remotes available for anyone wanting to purchase. • For input of contact information to entrance panel, contact Wayne Creekmore, John Patrick, or myself.

  19. Small projects in 2010 • Stoney Point Drive sign was relocated at Highway 8 entrance for better visibility. • Pole light numbering • Sign(s) painting • Tree removal from two lots that fell. • Installed new 120 volt outlet behind wall at entrance gate. • Met w/ Energy United rep to discuss pole lights • Secured mowing agreement proposal(s).

  20. Christmas at Stoney Point • Had Christmas decorations put up in Stoney Point • Hope to have community “hanging of the green” in 2011. • Hope to have community “hanging of the green” in 2011.

  21. 2011 and beyond…….. • 2011 projects / concerns! • Working with landscape committee toward possible landscaping “front entrance hills” at intersection of Harbor Drive E/W & Stoney Point Drive. • Working on fire ant control testing along roadway • Will be implementing boat storage weed control maintenance into agreement. • Pole light cleaning on per call basis. • Accept maintenance agreement on entrance gate. • Continue “Adopt A Highway” program. • Road repairs??????????????????????????? • What would you like to see done within SPH in the near future to enhance its appearance and safety for all?
