  2. What We Will Be Learning! • You will be able to name and understand different body parts and organs. • You will also be able to recognize which system these body parts and organs belong in.

  3. Introduction • Class Discussion • Brainstorming Activity!

  4. Help Arnold Find His Organs Find Arnold's Organs! • You will be divided into groups of two or three depending on the number of available computers • Click the find Arnold’s organs link above or, open the internet explorer and go to favorites, click on the link labeled “Arnolds Organs” (I will have previously added this as a favorite). • Wait for directions given before playing.

  5. Activity • In your groups of two or three you will choose one partner to trace • I will hand you out the pre cut organs for the human body • You will color them and place them in the correct locations on the outline which you traced of your partner.

  6. Presentation • Your group will be assigned a specific organ. • When you are presenting your life size sketch of the human body and your organ you must be able to answer the following questions: -What is your organ used for? -What would happen if we did not have it? -Describe what it looks like and where it is located, and point it out on your outline.

  7. Class Closing • We will have a class discussion • We will discuss what you have learned by comparing this list to the brainstorming list at the beginning of the lesson.
