Common Training Centre for Car Repairers and Damage Assessors • Fifteen years ago: • Car Body Constructions were traditional and easy to repair • Most of the Car Importers had Training Departments to train their panel beaters • The welding methods were similar for most of the car makes • There were no problems to repair most of the car models

Common Training Centre for Car Repairers and Damage Assessors • 1991 The economy of Finland dived deep 1991-1995 • Car sales dropped over 70 % • Hundreds of repair shops closed down • Most of the Car Importers closed down their training departments • At the end of nineteen’s came the first Special Steel Constructions and Aluminium Bodies. No repair instructions were available.
