Key Ambitions • To see an increase in the proportion of staff engaged in knowledge exchange activities so that we reach 100% engagement • The University will be perceived as making an impact on society through its various ‘civic engagement’ , public policy and Corporate Social Responsibility activities.

  6. Key Ambitions • The University will be in the top half of the Russell Group in respect of KE income per academic FTE, • Treble  the number of large, long-term collaborative research and knowledge exchange projects valued at over £1M.

  7. Key Ambitions • In addition to developing their skills, experience and employability through paid and unpaid community/enterprise projects, placements and internships, our students will be recognised as a force for good in society.

  8. We will work towards these ambitions by : • Aligning our research and KE to global challenges and maximising our impact • Supporting faculties in maximising their impact. • Developing a more commercial approach • Providing a research-led educational experience that prepares graduates to assume a leading role in their chosen career, contributing to the long term benefit of society,
