  6. Credential of Competency Online Training Courses Option #2 Complete at CLIU Computer Lab. Available dates will be posted yearly on CPE Tracker

  7. Competency Assessment Checklist Example

  8. Paraeducators hired after July 1, 2009 will have one year from date of hire to become highly qualified.

  9. 20 Hours of Staff Development *Note: Required as of July 1, 2008 and to continue annually. Paraeducators hired during a school year will start 20 hours the following school year.

  10. 1. Must be relevant to job assignment 2. Approved by supervisor 3. Documentation provided to employer annually Exclusions for 20 hrs: Classroom workdays Meetings Planning Time

  11. Documentation: CPE Tracker College Transcript Conference Verification Course Verification

  12. Documentation requirement submitted at end of school year to: Supervisor of your classroom program
