  7. Slogan & Logo • A slogan is a catch phrase. It’s something that is stated in advertisements that is quick and catchy. • Place Logo in the center of this slide. A logo is a design that allows people to quickly recognize your store.

  8. Location • You only have one store to begin with. What type of location would be best to draw in the most customers. • Add a map if you’d like.

  9. Products Available with Prices Included • What products or services do you offer. • Include detailed descriptions of each item you offer along with a price. • A drawing of the items can be helpful.

  10. Who is your target audience? Be specific. • What type of person would be interested in your product. • Explain using sentences with well chosen adjectives.

  11. Requirements of your employees and number of employees needed • If you were to explain everything an employee needs to be capable of doing, what would you tell him/her? • Include things like wages, hours, dress code, education

  12. How will you attract customers? • What are you going to do to get people to notice your store? • Remember you are just opening, so you need to do something to catch their attention. • List your plans • Include pictures if you’d like

  13. Business Card • A business card is small, so you only have room for a few items. • You will need the following on this card: Name of company, address, logo, contact Information, and a brief description of the type of store you have

  14. Coupon • Any specials for your new customers? • Design an eye catching coupon that they won’t look past in the Sunday newspaper.

  15. Best Business Award • If you were given an award, who would be the one giving it to you and why? • Create an award to post on the wall of your business.

  16. Letter of Complaint from dissatisfied customer • Unfortunately, you can’t please everyone. Write a letter (greeting, five sentences, closing, signature) from a customer you had a bad experience with one of your products.

  17. Response from Your Company • Here’s your chance to show that you would do anything to make this right and please the dissatisfied customer. • In letter format (minimum of 5 sentences) Include emotional words and tell how devoted you are to not losing this customer.

  18. What is your long term goal? • What do you see happening for this company in 5 to 10 years? (Minimum of 5 sentences)
