  2. Starting the car • Insert the key into the ignition. It should be located behind the right side of the steering wheel • make sure that the shifter is in the ‘park’ position and put your right foot on the left pedal, which is the break • put the car in drive and press the gas to go forward

  3. Safety • Always wear your seatbelt • Make sure to drive on the right side of the road. Use your mirrors to make sure you are between the lines. • Always maintain alertness of others on the road so that you stay in your lane and do not hit them.

  4. Rules and regulations • Stop at stop signs and red lights. • Green light means go and yellow means it is about to turn red.

  5. Speed Limit • Watch for speed limit signs so that you are not going too fast. • don’t go more than five mph under the speed limit.

  6. Coming to a stop • Never jam on the breaks • Slowly and smoothly place your foot on the break • Pull over to where you are parking the car • Never put your car in park until the vehicle is fully stopped. • Place your car in park,take off your seatbelt and take the key out of the ignition.
