24 th. Dua. الدُّعَاءُ هُوَ الْعِبَادَةُ. وَمَا خَلَقْتُ الْجِنَّ وَالْإِنْسَ إِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُونِ. And I did not create jinn and man except so that they worship me. Quraan (51:56). Supplication is worship. Hadeeth ( Tirmidhi ). Dua.

  2. Dua الدُّعَاءُ هُوَ الْعِبَادَةُ • وَمَا خَلَقْتُ الْجِنَّ وَالْإِنْسَ إِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُونِ And I did not create jinn and man except so that they worship me Quraan (51:56) Supplication is worship Hadeeth (Tirmidhi)

  3. Dua وَقَالَ رَبُّكُمْ ادْعُونِي أَسْتَجِبْ لَكُمْ إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ عَنْ عِبَادَتِي سَيَدْخُلُونَ جَهَنَّمَ دَاخِرِينَ And your Lord has said, "Invoke Me and I will respond to you. Surely the ones who are too proud to do My worship will soon enter Hell utterly abject." Quran (40:60)

Dua اُدْعُوا اللَّهَ وَأَنْتُمْ مُوقِنُونَ بِالْإِجَابَةِوَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّ اللَّهَ لاَ يَسْتَجِيبُ دُعَاءً مِنْ قَلْبٍ غَافِلٍ لاَهٍ Supplicate to Allah (make dua) while you are certain of acceptance and know that Allah does not answer prayers from a heedless and oblivious heart. Hadeeth (Tirmidhi)

  5. Dua • Dua creates a link between ourselves and Allah • It teaches us our true ability (or lack thereof) • It teaches us humilty • It makes us value things more (when you make an intense dua for something seemingly small) • As students we should be more involved in dua because learning is a great act of worship that requires lots of ability.
