Coordination for IMT-Advanced process • It is expected that there would be initial submissions of IMT-Advanced RIT proposal at next (5th) WP 5D meeting. • We suggest that WP 5D should start preparations of Step 3 and Step 5 in the process. • Step 3: Reception of the RIT and SRIT submissions and acknowledgement of receipt • Step 5: Review and coordination of outside evaluation activities

Suggested preparations and actions (1) • Step 3 • Create a “check list” to check a final (or an initial) proposal if it contains what are required (according to section 4.1 in Report ITU-R M.2133) • Completed templates • Initial self-evaluation or endorsement of initial evaluation by other entity • Indication of compliance with the ITU policy on IPRs (Annex 1 of Resolution ITU-R 1) (Note: it may be necessary for WP 5D to further clarify content of what are required.) • Request BR/Counsellor for ITU-R Study Group 5, to send an e-mail to each registered Evaluation Group (EG) informing there are submissions

Suggested preparations and actions (2) • Step 5 • Send a liaison to EGs, requesting to inform ITU-R with the latest status and direction of each EG, so that ITU-R will be able to coordinate EGs • Consider measures (tools) to facilitate the coordination • ITU-R Web page for IMT-Advanced process • ITU-R Mailing list • Others
