UNDER PRESSURE Something unexpected, disturbing, is happening, what can I do?
Somebody, in front of everybody and categorically, tells that you are wrong • A group of drunk people is interfering with a programme dedicated to families and/or children • You know only a way to explain a phenomenon, and people are not understanding • You don’t know how to answer a child question • Parents who want to teach too much to their children are interfering with their learning experience • A bunch of teenagers is not listening to you, and are going around shouting and enjoying themselves • Pupils were brought in by the professors, and now they are totally demotivated and passive • The science centre is closing, but a lot of interested people are still willing to interact • I have to explain to a large group of blind people • Explainers on the floor don’t do anything and are playing with their smart phones
TWENTY MINUTES TO: • Split in four groups, every group receives two problems and choose one • Discuss the problem and find possible solutions • Prepare a short theatrical presentation of the solutions HALF AND HOUR TO: • Present the solutions FIFTEEN MINUTES TO: • Have some ideas on how to train the explainers to react quickly and creatively
