Accelerator Support and Maintenance

This document outlines the scheduled maintenance and support activities for the accelerator systems, including the PASS for 56MHz installations, injector testing, and specific jobs for the Booster and AGS from 0700 to 1100 hrs.   2. Maintenance Tomorrow • PASS for 56MHz, install and test, CeC, eLens. • Injectors: • Booster and AGS 0700-1100hrs CA Specific Jobs only. • RHIC 0700-1400hrs Morning RA in most of ring CA in the afternoon. • Sweep 4 o’clock RF at 1600hrs

  3. Schedule • Booster and AGS LOTO application starting at 4am. • Access to RHIC promptly at 0700, all but kicker and RF areas. • RHIC sweeps early afternoon in tunnel. • Final tunnel sweep at 4Z1. • Experimental Sweeps during hysteresis ramp and setup.
