Humans vary on the basis of Race: characteristics transmitted biologically from one generation to the next • Skin colour • Hair • Facial Structure • Body build • All carry the DNA of one woman Unreliable method of identifying people Ethnicity: Characteristics that are learned such as • Language • History • Traditions • Behaviors • Clothing • Religion Unreliable method of identification All humans come from race and ethnicity.
