  4. After Before Behavior Getting up on timeIneffective Natural Contingency SD/Deadline: In a few minutes. Will lose a few minutes of time to do homework Al gets out of bed Will not lose a few minutes of time to do homework

  5. After Before Behavior Performance Management Contingency SD/Deadline: A few minutes Mother will toss a pitcher of cold water on Al and stand there and laugh Al gets out of bed Mother will not toss a pitcher of cold water on Al and stand there and laugh

  6. After Before Behavior Inferred Theoretical contingency Fear of Mom tossing a pitcher of cold water and laughing Al gets out of bed No fear of mom tossing a pitcher of cold water and laughing

  7. The PM contingency, is really direct acting But we still need the inferred theoretical contingency Because the PM contingency is an avoidance contingency.

  8. After Before Behavior Inferred Theoretical contingency Fear of Mom tossing a pitcher of cold water and laughing Al gets out of bed No fear of mom tossing a pitcher of cold water and laughing

  17. Hypothetical Little Al #2 Mrs. Poling uses delayed outcome over Little Al’s entire school week. That’s cool for Monday, but what about the rest of the days? We might do a separate diagram for each day, but here’s a slightly cooler way.
