  2. Project Coordinator CEN and CENELEC are business catalysts in Europe, removing trade barriers for European industry and consumers. Their mission is to foster the European economy in global trading, the welfare of European citizens and the environment.   3. Scope: Disaster Resilience and CBRNe Stair4Security delivers a governance platform. It contains a repository of information for relevant stakeholders involved in CBRNE and Disaster Resilience. It more easily enables the state of art to be identified as well as making known the available innovations, research or standards needed for development that are compliant with national/EU policies and practitioners needs. The platform support easier and better informed decision making for policy, practitioners, industry, research and standardizer stakeholders. 29th March 2019

  5. Stair4Security platform. Establish a platform, building upon a legacy of identified projects, and providing a “single entry point” for any query related to innovations, research and standards in the Disaster Resilience and CBRN-E sector. WP2 29th March 2019

Beneficiaries • Practitioners: • Strengthen their needs assessment process. • Help Practitioners to build a ‘bottom up’ comprehensive view of the state of play, state of the art to aid in the process for the establishment of their needs in coordination, innovation and research projects. • Provides a facility for Practitioners to be able to choose available innovation matching their common needs. • Identify and fill in gaps in coordination, innovation, research and standardisation. Set up common priorities and ensure interoperability principles are applied indefinitely • Help with the building of a Practitioner standardisation strategy and roadmap and also with the determination of the standards that are useful, usable and needed for use by Practitioners. • Better understanding of standardisation’s objectives, processes and outcomes.   16. Beneficiaries • Standardizers: • Better knowledge of actual Practitioners’ needs in all Disaster Resilience and CBRNE activities. Better understanding of state of play, state of the art, stakeholders to get involved, gaps in coordination or innovation. • Consolidate and update view of standardisation portfolio related to specific needs. Targeting work items where standards are really needed. • Enhance relevance of CWAs and the coordination with Technical Committees. • Develop fast track procedure where consensus appears to be easy to reach. • Enhance standardisation coordination and governance. • Make standardisation’s objectives, processes and outcomes more visible for the other users of the platform.
