It benefits your whole body providing it with healthy fats and essential nutrients required for a healthy heart, sharp brain, strong bones and prevention from various health issues like obesity and even cancer! So, why not use this wonderful oil in your daily diet and soak all of its amazing benefits naturally? If you aren’t a fan of continental food or don’t want to eat it every day, no problem. You can very well use olive oil to cook your favourite Indian fare and enjoy it daily. So, here are some finger-licking healthy recipes for those who love Indian snacks. Bajra Khakhra in Olive Oil In a bowl mix together 3/4th cup of bajra flour, 3/4th tsp of grated ginger, 3/4th tsp of crushed lehsun or garlic, 1 tbsp of crushed til or sesame seeds, 3 ½ tsp of olive oil, chilli paste and salt to taste. Combine all the ingredients together to form a firm dough using enough hot water. Leave aside to rest for 10 minutes then divide the dough into 8 equal sized balls. Heat a girdle or tava. Now, take a dough ball and roll it out thin using a belan or rolling pin and place it on the hot tava. Cook it on one side for about 30 seconds, then flip, spread some olive oil on it and cook on the other side. Repeat on the other side as well. Continue to cook on slow flame, while pressing with a folded piece of muslin cloth until golden-brown spots start appearing on the khakhra and it turns crisp. Make the rest of the 7 khakhras in a similar fashion. Baked Shakarkand or Sweet Potato Fries Cut shakarkand to make 2 cups of fingers. Add 1 tbsp of cornflour and ½ tsp of sea salt to it in a deep bowl and mix thoroughly. Add 1 ½ tsp of olive oil to the mixture and toss. Now place the sweet potatoes on a baking tray, leaving a little gap between the fingers and bake in a preheated oven at 200℃ for 25 minutes. Turn the fries once after 12 minutes. Once done, take them out in a bowl and toss them together with
