  2. Psalm 103: 8-10 8 “The LORD is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love. 9 He will not always accuse,    nor will he harbor his anger forever; 10He does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities.”

  3. Isaiah 44:22 “I have swept away your offenses like a cloud,    your sinslike the morning mist. Return to me, for I have redeemedyou.”

  4. Luke 23:34 Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.”

  5. Matthew 5: 23-24 23 “Therefore, if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother has something against you, 24leave your gift there in front of the altar. First go and be reconciled to your brother; then come and offer your gift.”

  6. Luke 11:4 (American Standard Version) “Forgive us our sins; for we ourselves also forgive every one that is indebted to us.” ---------------------------------- Matthew 18: 21-35 The Parable of the Unmerciful Servant

  7. Acts 7: 59-60 59While they were stoning him, Stephen prayed, “Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.” 60Then he fell on his knees and cried out, “Lord, do not hold this sin against them.” When he had said this, he fell asleep.

  8. Colossians 3: 12-13 12Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. 13Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.”

  9. Romans 12: 20-21 20“If your enemy is hungry, feed him;    if he is thirsty, give him something to drink…” 21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

  10. 2 Timothy 4: 16-17 16“At my first defense, no one came to my support, but everyone deserted me. May it not be held against them.17But the Lord stood at my side and gave me strength…”

  11. Saint Patrick • Lived during the 5th Century • Died on March 17th • Grew up wealthy in England • Abducted by pirates at 16 • A slave in Ireland for years • Saved by Jesus Christ there • Escaped back to England • God called him to go back • as a missionary to Ireland

  12. Before I was humiliated; I was like a stone that lies in deep mud, and He who is mighty came and in His compassionraised me up and exalted me very high and placed me on the top of the wall. The Lord opened the understanding of my unbelieving heart, so that I should recall my sins.

  13. I am Patrick, yes a sinner and indeed untaught; yet I am established here in Ireland where I profess myself bishop. I am certain in my heart that "all that I am," I have received from God. So I live among barbarous tribes, a stranger and exile for the love of God. I am greatly God's debtor, because He granted me so much grace, that through me many people would be reborn in God.

  14. If I have any worth, it is to live my life for God so as to teach these peoples; even though some of them still look down on me. May it never befall me to be separated by my God from His people whom He has won in this most remote land. I pray God that he gives me perseverance, and that He will deign that I should be a faithful witness for His sake right up to the time of my passing.
