Peace with God • We were God’s enemies (Colossians 1:21) • We have been reconciled through Jesus (Romans 5:10) • We have peace with God because of Jesus • Jesus Himself is our peace and He lives in us • When we are united with Him (i.e. in Christ) peace is the natural outcome • We can’t manufacture peace with God but we can receive it

  10. Peace with other people If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone Romans 12:18 (NIVUK) And now, my friends, good-bye! Strive for perfection; listen to my appeals; agree with one another; live in peace.
