  • The Comparative Political Data Sets (CPDS) are three separate datasets provided by researchers at the University of Berne.
  • Contain a collection of political and institutional data, but cover different countries and time periods
  • Suitable for cross-national, longitudinal and pooled time series analyses.

  • For member states of the former Soviet Union, the entries cover the period following their official independence from the USSR (mostly after 1991 and 1992).
