  2. PAT Certificate Portable Appliance Testing is done to ensure that electrical appliance are safe to operate and do not posses any safety hazards. This certificate creates a sense of safety among tenants and landlords.

  3. What is Displayed on PAT Certificate? A PAT Certificate contains details about the tested appliance, address of site where test had taken place, date of next inspection and details of the company or person who has conducted the test.

  4. Is PAT Compulsory? PAT testing is the most suitable way to ensure that the appliances are safe to operate and are in working condition. Landlords have to ensure that they have a valid PAT Certificate before renting or selling a property.
