2005 FOOTBALL . . @ Brownell-Talbot. After a tough first quarter (BT scoring 3 TD's), the Chiefs finished game strong. Taurean Miller threw two touchdown passes to Justin Saunsoci, and Sam Dick ran for a 60-yard touchdown. . 18-27. @ Walthill. . Justin Saunsoci scored 4 TD's, Wayman Dale and Calvin Clark each scored 1 TD. Game over by halftime. 52-0.

    33. O.N.C vs. Dodge (no picture available) 47-43 Taurean Miller led the way with 23 points for Chiefs' first victory of the season.  Jarell Grant added 11 points and 5 blocked shots.

    34. O.N.C vs. Winnebago (no picture available) 58-63 Freshman Delmar Parker led the Chiefs with 17 points in the loss against Winnebago.  Jarell Grant added 13 points and 1 blocked shot.

    35. O.N.C vs. Emerson (no picture available) 63-46 The Chiefs scored another  victory using Jarell Grant's game high 22 points.  Delmar Parker added 11 points and Sam Dick  contributed 10 more points.

    36. O.N.C vs. Santee (no picture available) 87-41 Everyone saw plenty of playing time in the Chief victory over Santee. Leading scorers were Jarrel (15), Sam (12), and Delmar  (11).

    37. O.N.C vs. Marty (no picture available) 67-61 Omaha Nation put another mark in the win column with their victory over the Marty Braves.  Leading the team in the scoring were Jarell with 18 points and Taurean with 16  points.

    38. O.N.C vs. Wynot (no picture available) 38-39 The Chiefs lost a heartbreaker to the Wynot Blue Devils coming up just short of a victory.  Taurean lead the team with 12 points and LJ Aldrich added 8 points.

    39. O.N.C vs. Bancroft (no picture available) 56-44 The Chiefs started the new year off with a win against Brancroft Rosalie.  Taurean had 18 points and Calvin Clark had 14 points to top all scorers.

    40. O.N.C vs. Bloomfield (no picture available) 57-52 This game kept the crowd in its seat until the final buzzer.  The Bees traded the lead with the Chiefs several times.  But in the end Omaha Nation came out on top.  Leading ONC to victory was Taurean with 17 points and LJ with 14 points.

    41. O.N. C vs. Walthill (no picture available) 71-44 Taurean had 22 points, Justin had 5 assists and Jarell had 19 points and 12 rebounds in a win over the Jays.

    42. O.N.C vs. Oakland-Craig 44-50 The Chiefs  held the lead almost the entire game until they went cold in the fourth quarter.  Taurean had 15 points and Jarell had 10 points in the loss to the Knights.

    43. O.N.C vs Walthill-NAIT 56-46 The Blujays came out strong against the Chiefs who have several players fight colds.  The ONC managed to hang in there and get the win,  Leading scorers were cousins, Taurean and Delmar.  Both had 12 points on the night.

    44. O.N.C vs. Santee-NAIT 65-48 The Warriors looked much improved since the last time they played the Chiefs keeping it close the whole game.  ONC came out on top and won the Nebraska All-Indian Tournament.

    45. Chiefs vs.Eagles-D.O.C 80-79 The Chiefs held off the Eagles to get a win in the first round of DOC.  ONC lead most of the game and stopped a fourth quarter run by HOTE to win the game.

    46. Chiefs vs. Warriors-D.O.C 65-43 After a nailbiter the night before, the Chiefs had a much easier time with Warriors beating for the third time this season.

    47. Chiefs vs. Chieftains-D.O.C 57-39 ONC out rebounded the Chieftains to win the semi-final game.  The Chiefs defense was in top form holding Crow Creek to a season low of 39 points. Tauren miller with leading score of 20 points. Jarell grant led in rebounds, assists, blocks and turnovers! 9 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 blocks, and 3 turnovers.

    48. Chiefs vs. Mustangs-D.O.C Championship 69-59 At the end of the first half the Chiefs were down, but they came back in the third quarter and held off Little Wound for the victory and championship of the Dakato Oyate Challenge.

    49. O.N.C vs. Prague (no picture available) 71-35 Another game where it was a lot closer than the score shows. Prague came out strong against the Chiefs, but went cold after the 1st quarter. 

    50. O.N.C vs. Concordia 63-37 The Chiefs easily handled the young Concordia Team.  Everyone saw lots of playing time.

    54. Umonhon Nation Lady Chiefs Basketball Season 2005-2006

    55. Dodge vs. ONC 67-65 Kathleen Webster led the Lady Chiefs with  36 points in an overtime victory.  Jasmine Tyndall added 10 points.

    56. ONC vs. Winnebago 54-62 The Lady Chiefs came from behind to force the game into overtime where they eventually lost. Kathleen was high point  with 25;  Angel Aldrich and Jasmine added 11 and 10 points respectively.

    57. ONC vs. Emerson-Hubbard 34-79 The Lady Chiefs lost to a tough E-H team.  Kathleen had 10 points and Julia Kemp and Peggy Sheridan both added 7 points.

    58. Boys Town vs. ONC 47-62 The Lady Chiefs kept it close in their game against Boys Town but came up short in the end.  Leading the way for the Lady Chiefs was Kathleen with 20 points and Peggy with 8 more.

    59. Marty vs. ONC 54-50 The Lady Chiefs trailed  the Lady Braves through most of the the game.  Midway through the second half the Omaha Nation girls took the lead and came away with the win.  Kathleen added 25 points and Peggy put in another 11 points.

    60. Wynot vs. ONC 17-56 The Lady Chiefs struggled to keep up with last year's state champs.  The Blue Devil defense held the team to a season low.  Chanelle Saunsoci led the team with 8 points.

    61. ONC vs. Bloomfield 53-60 The Queen Bees kept 10 point plus lead on the Lady Chiefs for most of the game until late in the second half when the girls made run for the lead.  In the end, they came up a little short of victory.  Leading the  way was Kathleen  with 19 points and Alyssa Aldrich with 10 points.

    62. ONC vs. Gayville-Volin 41-50 Kathleen had 11 points and Chanelle added another 10 points in a loss against a very fast team of Raiderettes.

    63. ONC vs. Walthill 52-42 The Lady Chiefs got their first win of the new year against the Lady  Blujays.  Kathleen had 13 points and Julia added another 10 points.

    64. ONC vs. Oakland-Craig 40-66 The game was a lot closer than the score shows.  The Lady Chiefs briefly took the lead in the 2nd quarter.

    65. Nebraska All-Indian Tournament ONC vs. Walthill @ Winnebago 56-43 The game wasn't as close as the score shows.  Macy lead Walthill by as much as 26 points.  Everybody saw plenty of playing time.

    66. Nebraska All-Indian Tournament ONC vs. South Sioux City @ Winnebago 55-60 The Lady Chiefs lost to the SSC Freshmen in the finals of the Nebraska All-Indian Tournament with a score of  55-60.      

    67. ONC vs. Prague ONC Lady’s Lost this game but it was also a tough loss.
