Who we are • The industry good organisation for New Zealand’s dairy farmers • Independently run, governed by a farmer-elected board • Funded by a levy on milksolids • Invest $80 million in the industry annually • Aim to secure the profitability, sustainability and competitiveness of New Zealand’s dairy farmers

  3. Funding • Commodity Levies Act • Levy on milksolids • 3.6 cents/kg milksolids • Voted every 6 years

  4. What we do • Ensure the levy dollar is spent on improving the industry • Invest in and undertake research & development to create on-farm tools • Lead on-farm adoption of best practice farming • Promote careers in dairying • Advocate for farmers with central & regional government
