  2. Aims • Reduce assaults and muggings on passengers • Detect potential bomb threats onboard transport platforms • Reduce fraudulent claims for injuries sustained by passengers

  3. R&D: Near-term • Installation of a robust on-vehicle IP-based CCTV system – a world first. • Central control system with interfaces for viewing, analysing, archiving and retrieval of data. • Network facilitating data downloading from bus and remote live viewing of bus video.
