Activities performed/foreseen during the 2011 TS • Already done • Survey: scans in Point 5 bypass, Pt1(UL14/6) • Point 8: EL cabling activities, • empty racks installation for IT, • preparatory work for the remote reset rack relocation (EL and IT) • Foreseen • Survey: Scans of Pt 7 (TZ76), • Pt 8 (UJ84/UL84/US85/UL86/UJ86) • Pt 4 (UJ44/UL44/US45/UL46/UJ46) • Point 1 • cable displacement in view of RB shielding installation • reinforce the floor in the RB (civil engineering team) • Points 5/7 • CE visits with firm to prepare future activities (wall dismantling in TZ76, drilling activities in UJ56, bypass) • Point 8 • pipes installation in view of fibers installation • ventilation control cabinet relocation from UJ87 to UA87? to be discussed with CV • functionality test of new cables for QURCB by cryoteam (under progress)

  3. Activities foreseen for the Christmas break 2011-2012 • Point 1 • fire detection relocation to ULs • shielding installation in RBs/UJs • preparatory work by EL (cable trays in the ULs- except those for water cooled cables) • Point 5 • fire detection displacement of the pipes in the by-pass, start pipes installation between RR and UJ -> under consideration; discussion with GS/ASE and integration in September • GGPSO installation in bypass • Civil engineering: drilling the 5 or 7 holes in the separating wall (‘murtympan’) • Point 8 • Cryogenics: • - QURCB relocation: under consideration (decision at the end of the new cables tests) • - QURA relocation: under consideration (seems feasible; to be confirmed during Xmas break) • - EYQ01 rack relocation (24VDC distribution rack) • All points • Floor reference points to be installed -> under consideration; discussion with integration and survey in September
