Jake and Beth went to a banquet with Steve and Jan. Jake felt that Beth did like him. Then, all of a sudden, Jake was inattentive. This made him drop his plate of spareribs on his lap. His expensive pants were such a mess. This was not impressive! It made Steve, Jan and Beth poke fun at him. In the end, Beth gave Jake a big kiss. She did like him with his mess and all! Jake was glad that Beth was not a snob and that she had fun.
