  2. In July2017 I hada possibilityto take part in a veryinterestinglanguageproject - 2 weeksof englishlanguagecourse on Malta.

  3. First step -findgoodlanguageschool on Malta Beforethetrip I spent many hourson the Internet – I read a lot of opinionsaboutMalta’slanguageschools, abouttheteachers, prices, location and accomodation. Afterthat I choseMaltalinguaSchool of Englishin St. Julians.

  4. I contactedwiththeschool manager and askedaboutthe terms of courses, payment, teachers and otherimportant things. Then I bookedtheflight and accomodation.

  5. Preparingtrip to Malta was my first valuableworkexperienceinEnglish – I had to prepareeverythingindependently, without a tutor, travel agent orEnglishteacher.

  6. My school - Maltalingua • It’s a smalllanguageschoolintheheart of St. Julians, just a fewstepsfromtheseaside.

  7. Lessons My group hadEnglishlessonswithtwoteachers – Karen fromEngland and Rachel fromScottland. Karen was speakingEnglishwithperfectBritish accent but Rachel hadstrongScottish accent, so itwas sometimesreallydifficultto understandher.

  8. Duringthelessons I hadopportunity to usenewworkingmethods – we playedEnglishscrabble, we explainednewwordsorsentences by thepantomime and we tookpart infewintensivediscussionsaboutpolitics, enviroment, school system inourcountries and aboutthefuture of ourworld.

  9. My group Studentsin my group came form Poland, Russia, Finland, South Korea, Madagascar, Spain, Italy and Estonia. A reallyinternational and multiculturalsociety And that was interesting and funnyexperience – we hadpossibility to hearso many differentaccentswhen we pronouncedthe same wordwithournativeaccent…

  10. Through meetings and discussions with people from so many different countriesI know, that ourdiversity is a power and great treasure of Europe.

  11. Thenextgood news is… Everyone on Malta canspeakEnglish– sometimesveryfluently, sometimesbasicly, but youcanspeakEnglishallday – at school, at public transport, intherestaurant, inmuseumor inthetraveloffice. So itmeansyoucanpolishyourEnglish allthe time, invarioussituation.

  12. After-schoolactivities Malta is a smallisland but itehas a lot to offer – fantastic beaches, sunallday, friendlyinhabitans and great historical monuments. Itis not possible to getboredthere.

  13. Sightseeing If you like architecture and you are interestedinhistory, you can spend many hours in the narrow streets in old capital city Mdina, whichwas builtin medieval time. Mdina islike an old citadel with big gates and walls. And this is a place where famous TV series „Game of thrones” was filmed.

  14. Maltesecuisine… National Maltesedishisrabbit. Whenyouareveryhungry, youmusttastepastizzi – small snack withwegetablesorchicken. On market youcan buy „prickly pears” – red and sweet cactusfruit (withoutspikes! ) .

  15. … and modern cuisine Facebookicecream ;-)

  16. So, If you are curious about the world, ifyou like people, and ifyou like discovering new or different things, a language course in another country will be a veryvaluable experience for you. • You will return richer!
