BECSAR MISSION • Relationships to the international organizations,foreign SAR organism and the national administrations • Preparation of the national decisions according to the general policy concerning SAR organization • Harmonization of SAR plan with the other rescue plans. • Participations to the studies and to the specific programs of • SAR equipment • Development and diffusion of the national procedures • Update and diffusion of ICAO SAR regulation • Development of the training programs • Study of the reports of exercises or operations.

  14. EFFECTIVENESS For the best results in SAR operations, the RCC directed by the Royal Air Forces is co- established with the ACC in the CNCSA.

SAR Delegation The SAR responsibility mission as recommended by ICAO, was entrusted to the DAC with decree from MT (n°2-72-527 of the 10 safar 1394 = 5 mars1974) Imposing the SAR services for airplanes in distress within the entire Moroccan FIR under CASABLANCA ACC responsibility. For its part, The DAC, entrusted the mission of SAR to a engineering,design and coordination department (BECSAR)

  16. RCC MISSION • Ensures the general direction of SAR operations, • Starts and stops SAR operations, • Determines the area of investigations, • Coordinates searches and takes part in the rescue of the victims. • Coordination of the RCC action and the MRSC’s

  17. ONDA MISSION • Installation and maintenance of the RCC equipment • ( same as the ACC ) • Integration of the RCCneeds in the improvements and modernization planned by the ONDA

  18. FUTURE ONDA is engaged in a process ofharmonization of the CNS/ATM to facilitate the Moroccan integration to the ' single sky ' of Europe
