Purpose Despite the prevalence of conventional medicine, Ayurveda should not only become adapted as the primary system of medicine in India, but in other countries as well. • Positive affects it has on the health system • Advantages over other medical systems • Ways Ayurveda can influence business and the economy

  4. Positive Affects on Health System • Ayurveda can understand, diagnose, and treat new diseases. • Ayurveda is highly systemized. • Theories are proven with evidence • There are documented clinical observations

Advantages Over Other Medical Systems Conventional medicine: a system in which medical doctors and other healthcare professionals (such as nurses, pharmacists, and therapists) treat symptoms and diseases using drugs, radiation, or surgery. • Minimal side effects • Far more simple and efficient

  6. Influence on Business & Economy • The demand on Ayurvedic medicine has increased over time. • Ayurveda has been shifting from small-scale producers to larger manufacturing businesses.
