  1. Guide to the London Games Festival 2019 Springtime in London means the staging of the London Games Festival. This is a gathering of a variety of gamers, game creators, and investors to celebrate interactive gaming. You wouldn’t want to miss this year’s London Games Festival, especially when you are staying at any of the hotels near Kensington London. Organizers, Games London, Film London, and Ukie say this is going to be the best yet. Happening from April 2 to April 14, those attending are in for bigger events across the city.

  2. More than 65,000 people attended last year’s festival, with 40 events in 20 different venues. The festival featured almost 400 games across all its events and established itself as a global platform in business. This year marks the return of tentpole activities for all attendees, including the Games Character Cosplay Parade and an expanded Now Play This at Somerset House. There will be a wide array of outdoor events and a huge offering for the games community. Some of the festival’s core programming will be focusing on impact games on health, culture, and wider creative industries.

  3. What to Expect in the 2019 Festival? • LGF-HUB will return on April 2 and 3. It will feature start-ups and prototypes, summits and workshops on Games Culture, Games Impact, Convergence and Online Live Games • Now Play This at Somerset House returns. It is a showcase of playful work and experimental game design.

  4. The 4th Games Finance Market is happening on April 3 and 4. It is a one-of-a-kind event in the UK which connects 60 game studios with 60 global game investors. • There is also the 2nd phase of Ensemble. It is an exhibition to showcase key UK-based BAME games talent. • On April 6, there will be the Games Character Parade which will feature cosplayers at different locations.   5. This year, there will be internationally renowned partners: • On April 4 to April 6, the largest games event, EGX Rezzed is happening at the Tobacco Dock. It will showcase PC and indie games. • On the evening of April 4, the BAFTA Games Awards will take place.
