  3. Indentifying Stakeholders at multiple Levels • Include relevant organizations, but keep group as small as possible. • We are seeking evidence that stakeholders would be affected by aninternational M-agriculture strategy. • Describe in terms of agriculture value chains

  4. Indentifying donors and partners • Recognize donors have on motivation- politics • Examples • Gates Foundation • Oxfam • Nokia • Etc…

  5. Research • Provide evidence of m-agriculture benefits • Evidence of barriers and gaps • Funding mechanism for research - equitable

  6. Principles • International orgs should play nicely together • Subsidiarity – the principle that matters ought to be handled by the smallest, lowest or least centralized competent authority. • E.g. taxes set at lower level but handsets should be usable everywhere. • Small is beautiful • localism supports local production and consumption of goods, local control of government, and local culture and identity
