OFDMA Resource Allocation with Proportional Rates Mr. Zukang Shen, Mr. Ian Wong, Prof. Jeffrey Andrews, and Prof. Brian L. Evans Wireless Networking and Communications Group, UT Austin Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access (OFDMA) basestations allow multiple users to transmit simultaneously on different subcarriers during the same symbol period. Our research is to allocate subcarriers and power at the basestation to each user in order to maximize sum of user data rates, subject to constraints on total power, bit error rate, and proportionality among user data rates.
