About me Graduated from Texas A&M (Biology Major, Minor in Chemistry & Education—Science Composite) I am married with 2 daughters—ages 10 & 14 This is my 17th year teaching Always taught at the 8th grade level—I love it!  Was in FBISD until this year when we moved to Magnolia House flooded in Harvey , so the home life is CrAzY right now, but I promise that will not affect your kiddos in any way!!

  4. expectations What do I expect? Students to arrive to class, on time and ready to learn, with the appropriate supplies—a 1 to 1½” binder, writing utensils, and paper every day Textbooks will be used to supplement learning (rarely, if ever, used in class) Students to be respectful—to everyone in the room—at all times Students to work hard and follow all classroom rules/procedures on a daily basis without repeated reminders

  5. expectations What can you expect from me? Students will be held to a high standard academically and behaviorally in my classroom. I have Open and Frequent Communication I update my website weekly (at least) Will elaborate on the next slide If I ever have a concern, I will reach out to you Please know that your child has received multiple warnings if I ask for your assistance in a disciplinary issue, but I like to touch base about positive matters too (those are much more fun)!  Know that I genuinely care about the success of your child and will do everything I can to help them be and feel successful.

  6. tutorials My tutorials are anytime my students need help withpriornotice. If tutorials are needed, students should: talk to me to arrange a day/time that works for both of us. come to tutorials with necessary materials (homework, notes, quizzes, tests, lab, etc.)
