Evaluation Methodology • Research population • 39 PRHO’s • 10 Nurses • 39 Supervisors • 3 Administration Staff • 1 Nursing Tutor • 3 Clinical Placement Mentors • 30 non-e-portfolio users • Data collection methods • Online questionnaires • Assessment of Trainee outputs
Findings: Use of e-portfolios • 27 PRHO’s have accessed the e-portfolio (n=39) • 9 Supervisors (n=39) • 6 Nursing Students have accessed the e-portfolio (n=10) • 4 regular users
Findings: Use of e-portfolios • Technology should not be a barrier to portfolio learning Case 1 & 2 (n=79): 50 % found it very easy or easy to use initially 11% found it hard or very hard. Case 3 (n=7): all found it easy to use.
