  4. Goals Review, Feedback & Refinement Steps: • Partner with another school/table to exchange multiple copies of your CSIP plans. • Follow the Goals Review & Feedback Directions.

  5. From Feedback to Refinement Team Task • Using the feedback that was provided to you, review and refine your CSIP Goal. CSIP Goals should address each of the ASPIRING traits.

  6. Roll Out and Sustainability • On chart paper create a T-chart: • List/describe what you did that went well with your 09-10 CSIP Roll-out. Include specifics such as who, when, where, and how. • List things you desire to do for the 10-11 CSIP Roll-out.

  7. Roll Out and Sustainability Optional Walking Tour If you wish to get an idea of what other schools have done or are thinking about doing for their CSIP Roll-out walk among the table groups. Your goal is to gather as many ideas as possible for your team to use as you develop your 10-11 CSIP Roll-out plans.

  8. Designing the Roll-Out Plan • Team Task • To identify how you will help the staff take ownership of the CSIP. • How will we personalize our students’ experiences through: • engaging staff in discussions, observations, hypotheses and idea generating focused upon the data? • investing staff in the goals? • integrating our reading, writing, math, and/or behavior plans? • connecting staff with the improvement tasks and culture of improvement? How can existing committees enter into the CSIP? • preparing for potential pitfalls? • Those who fail to plan … plan to fail.

  9. SWOT Team Task Review your roll-out plans using the following: Strengths Weaknesses Opportunities Threats (use the handout as your guide)

  10. Ready to Launch Team Task Consider these final steps … • Communicate the plan. • Create the culture and climate for success. • Reflect upon your data retreat and improvement planning experience. • Celebrate your hard work and accomplishments! Whahoo!

  11. Goals Founded Upon Quality SD Using the National Staff Development Council’s Standards templates, review your CSIP Action Plans to assure that you have included comprehensive SD founded upon the NSDC Standards. (use the various NSDC material templates to assist you)

  12. Summarizer The Important Thing Individually: • Reflect upon the most important thing about your CSIP plan and write that at the top and bottom of your handout. • List 4 attributes that are important to the successful implementation of your CSIP plan.

  13. Summarizer continued… Group Sharing: • Share your individual reflections with the entire team. “Celebrate what you have accomplished as a team and always remember to celebrate your successes!”
