Bring in as many books as you can find. At the end, the teacher with the most books gets a much needed $50 gift card to Wal Mart to buy school supplies. Halloween is a few days away. Churches are having Fall Festivals instead of the average “Trick or Treat”. Check them out. This is awesome fun, folks! Thanksgiving will be here soon as well. Look around and think about all the things we have to be thankful for! Our veterans are among those blessings. If you see a person who has served or is serving in our military, give them a handshake and a “thank you”! At the Cross Mason’s Highlights… I have some good news! About a month ago, THREE people got saved at FBC: Lee Merritt, Tyler Harris, and ScottLedford! We need to be thankful for this and encourage them in their walk with Christ! JR. BASIC NEWS David’s Outreach… New Hinson had a Fall Festival Sunday night, and it was totally TRICKED OUT! They had a Judgment House, all kinds of games, and Trick or Trunk. John David and I played ping pong and basketball. Pleasant Hill is having a Festival on Saturday November 7. We have JAM UP food and games. You know our ladies could cook up a storm! This is open to everyone who wants to come. We hope to see you there. Don’t forget to wear a jacket! God Bless You! Brianna’s Vibe: Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that Whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life. These verses are ones many of us may know by heart, but I feel that we needed to hear them in our first newsletter as a reminder. We need Christ to help us get through things, and we don’t have to go through them alone. He is always with us.
