Fromthenortheast side it has a borderwiththeRepublicofHungary. IntheareaoftheRepublicof Croatia the Koprivnica Križevci countyborderswiththpsesixcounties: countyof Međimurje, countyof Varaždin, countyof Zagreb, countyof Bjelovar and bilogora andcountyofVirovicaand podravina.
