With spectacular actions, the Human Front of the World Citizens,as well as Garry Davis and his support committee, pose in front of the representatives of the States, gathered in November 1948 with the UN (in the Palace of Chaillot, in Paris), the fundamental demands of the human of the 20th century, threatened in his life

  4. In the name of the peoples of the world who are not represented here,I interrupt you,(...) We, the people, want the peace that only a world government can give.The sovereign states that you represent here divide us and lead us to the abyss of war.(...) I call on you to convene a World Constituent Assembly immediately.(...) Simultaneously, the Human Front of the World Citizens launches the idea of the registration of Citizens of the World (January 1949)and associates it with the demand of a World Constituent Assembly.The registration is extended to the territories in June 1949,then to associations in 2003In 1969 the first transnational elections are organized

On January 1, 1949, Garry Davis announces the creation ofInternational Registry of World Citizens.By amendment of the statutes on October 28, 2000, the name becomes "World Citizens Registry".On April 3, 2012, the association is transformed into a world federation.The goals assigned to the World Citizens Registry have remained unchanged since 1949.

It is a card of world elector and of personal identity. It does not dispense with the documents currently required by the States: passport, work card or others. The PEOPLE’S CONGRESS is a step towards the creation of a World Assembly able to establish and control the World Institutions essential to the survival of humanity and the preservation of the biosphere. • In conformity with the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the People’s Congress is constituted: • an Assembly, known as the "World citizens Assembly", an organ of participatory democracy in matters of global concern. • a body of Delegates elected by an electorate in 114 countries by transnational elections.The term of office is 9 years The elected Delegates are renewed by thirds every three years.

Invested in the authority conferred by elections (Article 21-3 of the UDHR) the role of the People’s Congress is to say the Law. • It expresses, through World Declarations, the opinion or will of a world's people about events affecting the fate of humanity. • It takes part in governments or international organizations of current global issues. • It prepares the establishment of a WORLD PARLIAMENT, among others, the World People's Assembly.

  34. Let's take our future in hand ! For a World Constituent Assembly : World Citizens to be Citizen of the World is to bet for the survival of humanity.
