  3. Being safe in our classroom means: • Staying in your seat • Not playing or touching musical or electrical equipment without permission • Not throwing things to someone • Not wrestling with classmates (even if you think it’s just in fun) • Leaving and entering the room in an orderly fashion • Listening to and following instructions

  4. 2. Being respectful

  5. Being Respectful in our classroom means: • Listening to the teacher when he or she is giving instructions • Listening to other people when they are asking or answering a question • Keeping the room tidy. Not leaving litter on the ground. • Looking after the equipment – reporting any breakages, accidental or deliberate • Not writing on desks, walls, other students’ books

  7. Being a learner in the classroom means: • Trying to complete your work • Listening to instructions • Keeping your book and sheet work tidy and up to date • Writing your names on your handouts and making sure you stick them in your books • Asking questions when you’re not sure how to do something • Helping others to work well (making a good learning community)
