  2. PATF PATF is Pennsylvania’s alternative financing program. PATF provides consumers with information about possible funding resources for home modifications (such as waiver programs, grants through the MS Society, ALS Society, UCP) so the overall loan amount will be lower.

  3. PATF’s Loan Programs PATF also has two loan programs: • Provides mini-loans from $100 to $1,000 at 0% interest for the purchase of AT. (Some partial grants given with mini-loan if household income meets requirements.)

  4. PATF Loan Programs (continued) 2. PATF provides low-interest loans – up to $25,000 if guaranteed and $60,000 if traditional – for the purchase of assistive technology (AT) devices and services.

  5. Partners Partnerships help make it possible to provide more comprehensive services to consumers. • PA Housing Finance Agency (all states have such an agency). PHFA has weatherization programs, rental assistance, housing repair programs. • PA Health Law Project (other states have an affiliate). PHLP will assist consumers get the health care they need and they will help someone with the appeal/grievance process. • Regional Housing Legal Services (Legal Aid agencies). RHLS works with contractors who have tax credits for building accessible units. They also provide free legal aid to people who have low incomes.
