This study presents a comprehensive comparative gas chromatography (GC) analysis of (R)-(-)-2-butyl and (S)-(+)-2-butyl glycosides. These compounds were prepared using an authentic L-Rha standard alongside serotype 7 glycoconjugate. The analysis characterizes the different retention times and peak formations, providing insights into the structural and compositional variations between the two isomers. Supplementary Figure 1 illustrates the results over a series of time points, highlighting the reactivity and stability of the glycosides during the analysis, essential for understanding their biochemical interactions.
