What are the product’s features & benefits? What details does the salesperson need to know to make a sale? 3. Develop your marketing strategy! How will you get the word out about your sale? 4. Establish personal & team sales goals! SELL! SELL! SELL!

  10. Your team will be required to submit: 1. A (word processed) team plan to include the team name, project manager’s name, sales & marketing strategies, as well as individual & team sales goals. 2. All completed transaction records (sales invoices). 3. A word-processed profit & loss statement (at the end of the task) with the sales generated by each team member and a total profit for each individual & the group, as a whole. Group sales figures must match the transaction records you turn in. 4. A final assessment of the team’s outcome (What worked? What didn’t? What could you have done differently?)

Marketing Goal – An objective you plan to fulfill Marketing Strategy – A plan of action for achieving your goals and objectives Marketing Tactic- Specific actions used to carry out strategies Product Feature – Basic, physical attributes of a product

  13. Vocabulary Product Benefit – Advantages or personal satisfaction a customer will get from a good/service. Sales Goal/Quota – Dollar or unit sales goals set for the sales staff to achieve to achieve in a specific period of time Gross Profit – is the difference between sales revenues and the cost of goods sold; expenses must be deducted to determine net (actual) profit
